Advocacy and Health Policy Events

Our staff is passionate about advocating for our cancer patients. Each year a group of chosen individuals gathers to speak with representatives in Washington D.C. about issues that face our oncology patients. Afton Dickerson, MSN, AGACNP-BCP, AOCNP, CBCN has represented Oncology Consultants at many of these events. She will be attending again this year to ensure that the voices of cancer patients are being heard and that there is representation in Washington from the Houston area.
