Nursing

Our nurses are a compassionate and highly skilled group of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care, support, and personalized attention to patients throughout their treatment journey.

Your Oncology Nurse is a specialized nurse who cares for cancer patients. The nurse is available to provide information about your treatment, administer the chemotherapy and supportive care drugs, teach you about self-care, and schedule regular check-ups and tests. Your nurse is also able to assist you in finding solutions to problems with diet, home care, supplies, medicines, transportation, and other matters. The oncology nurse is able to help you contact other needed support services such as social workers, community resources, and support groups.

We know when you are not feeling well, it is important to speak with a knowledgeable and caring person. Oncology Consultants has triage nurses ready to speak with you. These nurses work directly with your doctor. If you are having side effects from your treatment, press 2 to speak with a nurse. They are available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
